At SXSW EDU, Knowles and Mitchell reflected on that legacy while outlining a bold evolution for the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They described how the Carnegie Classifications are moving beyond traditional indicators like prestige, student selectivity, and degrees awarded.
