The report explores the causes and consequences of what may be a permanent shift toward a less experienced profession. They leave for many reasons, the report says, but at the top of the list are concerns related to lack of support, such as limited professional development, little helpful feedback on performance that supports improvement, and feeling isolated from colleagues. The report\u00a0examines\u00a0some promising ways of addressing the problem, including intensive mentoring and residency programs.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
