This fall, members of the Carnegie Postsecondary Commission (CPC)<\/a> convened in Baltimore to discuss post-high school educational pathways. Comprised of leaders from higher education, secondary education, and the private sector, the Commission is focused on identifying and amplifying the most powerful levers to propel millions more low-income, underrepresented, and first-generation students through postsecondary education into purposeful careers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the convening, Commissioners learned about a deep collaboration between the Baltimore Ravens, M&T Bank, Baltimore City Public Schools, and College Track to create structured pathways for underrepresented students. This work is focused on ensuring more young people are on a path toward higher education and successful careers. Leaders visited two local sites, the Academy for College and Career Exploration and College Track at The Durant Center and engaged in deep discussions about the collective effort needed to drive meaningful community-wide impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
